Food and Places considers partnerships that help readers explore food culture and the places behind it without blurring the line between editorial work and promotion.
Suitable collaborations
We consider relevant sponsored features, clearly marked partner links, and other standing placements related to food culture, regional food, markets, or place-based storytelling. A proposal should explain the subject, intended placement, audience fit, and any material or destination it would point readers toward.
Clear labelling
Sponsored and partner material is labelled plainly wherever it appears. Partner links are presented as commercial placements, not independent editorial recommendations. Labelling stays visible and does not depend on readers knowing who paid for a placement.
Editorial boundaries
Partnerships do not buy a favourable article, a change in editorial judgement, or control over unrelated coverage. We may decline proposals that do not fit the publication or that would make the distinction between editorial and commercial material unclear. Use the Contact page to send a proposal.
